| Miraculous escape for 26 DAV School students | | |  Early Times Report
Kathua, Dec.3:- 26 students of DAV School authority Kathua have a miraculous escape when a bus bearing number JK08B 2598 hired by school for a picnic for class Xi today met with an accident near Malikpur just 20 km from Kathua in Punjab. According to reports, students had a miraculous escape as only a few students sustained some minor injuries who were Injured in accident and immediately shifted to MH Pathankot.
Worried parents rushed to school when the news about bus accident got spread like wild fire. some parents alleged that when they wanted to have information about their wards surprisingly the school management tried to hush up matter and preferred silence. Some agitated parents even dared that school management openly violates Supreme Court and MVD directions as it had hired an old model mini bus for picnic of 26 students. Here it needs to mention that similar incident occurred some years back when a DAV School Bus also had met an accident in which one critically injured teacher later had succumbed to her injuries.
When contacted ARTO Kathua Indu Jamwal said the mini bus had no permission to cross the state so Motor Vehicle department would take strict action against the operator. She also said that the authorities have withheld its route permit besides other documents . |
