GGM Science College organizes Digital Awareness program 12/22/2016 9:38:09 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 22: A Digital Awareness Programme, organized by GGM Science College, Jammu in collaboration with PNB Canal Road, Jammu here at college premises. The main objective of the programme was to guide and create awareness of cashless transactions for the promotion of 'Vittya Saksharata Abhiyan' (VISAKA) of MHRD (GOI). Prof. Ajeet Angral, Nodal Principal was the Chief Guest on the event. Hemant Sharma, Marketing Manager(PNB) deliberated upon the need of cashless transaction by using various 'Mobile Apps' which are easily available on the internet in view of its utmost significance in the global world. The faculty members of the college in a large number were present in the programme, they also shown keen interest in learning the concept of the cashless transactions in the modern era. In the programme, a good number of volunteers were also registered for its further promotion. Welcome address was presented by the senior most faculty member Prof. Ashok Kumar.
