Jammu, Mar 17: JKNPP expressed full solidarity with the people of Nowshera, Sunderabani & Kalakote, who are marching towards Jammu to demand district status. Panthers also demanded reorganization of the districts to fulfill the long standing demands of Jammu region.
In an emergency meeting of senior Party leaders under chairmanship of Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party at Party Hqrs. here today, it was resolved that Panthers Party fully stand with the genuine demands of the people at large irrespective of their Party affiliations. Panthers further urged upon the Governor, NN Vohra to intervene and issue instructions to state Govt. to fulfill the demand of district status to Nowshera, comprising of Sunderbani & Kalakote. The leaders also supported demand of public of Billawar, Bani, Basholi for hill district namely Billawar District without any delay. They said that being totally hilly and remote area, successive Govts. so far neglected it for development and upliftment of the poor people. |
