JAMMU, Mar 17: The government has constituted a committee to probe the matter regarding misuse of funds in construction of some utilities in the educational institutions.
According to an order a committee of officers is hereby constituted in order to verify the facts in respect of complaint received and duly endorsed by the Private Secretary to Minister for Education vide number nil dated 12/03/2018 against the Headmaster Govt High School Chhan Ronan, the then Chief Education Officer Kathua and Deepak Rama, contractor regarding the acts of criminal breach of trust.
It has been alleged that cheating for duping the state funds and misuse of funds allotted for construction of tan Rooms with Varnadha, Boundary Wall and Toilets for Girls and Boys in Govt High School Chhan Ronan Zone Marheen as per the Plan of 2006-2007. Jaimal Singh, Principal Govt HSS Hatli, Rakesh Singh Jasrotia Principal Govt HSS Earwal and S H Satpal, I/C ZEO Marheen are the committee members.
The committee is directed to enquire the matter in detail and submit the report along with specific comments/recommendations to the concerned office within five days positively to proceed further in the matter. Photocopy of the complaint is enclosed herewith for reference. |
