ISIS terrorists active in Kashmir | ET Report Vindicated | | Early Times Report jammu, Mar 17: Security Forces killing six militants of the terror outfit Anzar-ul-Gazwat-ul-Hind just within a week in two encounters at Hakoora in south Kashmir's Anantnag district and at Srinagar outskirts in Khanmoh has brought to fore the presence of dreaded terror outfit ISIS in Kashmir. It's in place to mention here that Early Times was the first newspaper in Jammu and Kashmir to report about the presence of ISIS terror outfit and Al-Qaeda linked terrorists active in the Valley. An official said that presence of ISIS terrorists in Kashmir is a matter of concern. "These terrorists are highly radicalized and as per our information they are behind most of the riffle snatching incidents in the Valley," he added. The official said the terror group led by Zakir Musa has already made inroads into the Valley and it has succeeded in roping the terrorists from other groups into their fold. "Situation in Kashmir can take a deadly turn. The security forces would have to act swiftly to eliminate these terrorists," he added. A source said that the ISIS terrorists pose a major security threat as they are linked to the terrorists in other foreign countries and they get the funds through different channels. "These terrorists have been involved in the looting of banks and ATMs in the Valley. Most of the money looted by them is used for purchasing expensive mobile phones and to buy ammunition," he added. He claimed that these terrorists have developed a strong network of the over ground workers, who help them to identity the places which they can loot. "These OGWs also help them (terrorists) to identify soft targets and the isolated places where they can attack the security forces," the source added. An official said, "Presence of the ISIS terrorists means that we should be ready to face the foreign mercenaries, including Afghanis, Somallis and others, who are likely to infiltrate into J&K through Pakistan." He said, "The only route through which these people can reach J&K is through Pakistan. Our Army and counter infiltration grid has to remain prepared to handle the terrorists which may try to sneak in through with the help of Pakistani Army." The official said that ISIS has already radicalized the youth in Kashmir but the problem they are facing is that they (Kashmiri youth) are not trained fighters and whenever their attacks are repulsed they try to flee and get trapped. "They are not that good about handling arms. We have to catch them or eliminate them before outsiders sneak into J&K and start imparting training to them," he added. |
