Jammu, Mar 17: On the eve of Navtrata Festival 2018, to promote the traditional folk cultural of J&K Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) staged 200th Saturday Series Musical Play "MAA SHERANWALI" in collaboration Sangam Tru Art Production parts of its regular feature at open air theatre Durga Bhawan, Janipur, Jammu. The programe was supported by Academy of Art Culture & Languages , J&K Govt. During the Nine Day Navtra Festival , Bajan Kirtan & one act play will be presented including Kanya Pujan on Nav Navratras.The function was inaugurated after lighting the Traditional Lamp by the Chief Guest V.K.Magotra, Former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity ,Government of India, K.K.Joshi , Vice Chairman BLSKS, Dr.Tara Singh Charak , Former Deputy Director ,Health Department ,J&K Government , J.K.Raina, Freelancer Producer Director and Dr. Anju Dogra from Health Department, J&K Government , Vinod Dogra chief service engineer, exide were the Guests of Honor. The programme commenced with welcome song "Jai Jai Sheranwali" , "Mayia he mahiya meri Mahiya " , "Tum Durga Tum Laxmi Tum Hi Maa Sheranwali". Speaking on the occasion Chief Guest Lauded the role of Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan -(NGO) for underlining the importance of staging such plays in all parts of the state in generating awareness among the masses about various social evils through Musical Play / Theatre / Drama which are still very powerful medium of communication. |
