Vijaypur, Mar 17: A five days camp of scout and guides was held in Arvind Ghosh Hr. Sec. School Vijaypur Distt. Samba. During this camp various scouting skills likes, Signalling, Pioneering, Knotting, Mapping, Estimotion, Cooking, Tent pitching and other basic skills were taught to the participant students.
Besides, human and moral education was given to scout and guides.
Around 67 scouts and 87 guides participated in this camp. Trainers deputed from state HQ J&K Bharat Scout and Guides, Gandhi Nagar. Include Madan Lal, K.L Sharma, Harcharan Singh, Manjit Kour, Harvinder Kour and Shoba Rani. On the concluding with days the scout and guides presented folk lances. The camp conclude with a vote of thanks from Gurdeep Singh Principal of this School. |
