Jammu, Mar 17: Yuva Jagriti Mission at Vessu Qazigund in which Poshker Nath Koul Bedil was felicitated with a citation and a cheque by the Veer Ji Saraf as a Chief guest which was latter donated by Bedil to the said NGO for relief and rehabilitation of the people of J&K as a token of love.
In the function, Veer ji threw light on the life of Bedil as writer, actor and dramatists. He said such honour is less as compared to the contributions given by him to the society as a writer and an educationist. He said the book namely Dag the pain reveals the pain hidden in the author which is because of the migration. The NGO is led by its state president Abid Khan who said that Bedil should be given national recognition as writer. He said that Bedil' verses are natural which out flows from heart and touches heart and mind of the reader. The vote of thanks was presented by Arif Raja, General Secretary and Answer Ahmad Organiser Secretary. Sanjay Koul president vessu, welcomes such steps and congratulated Bedil on its achievements. The others who where present are Sunny jee, Pamposh Koul, Dainposh koul, Archana Koul and various others. |
