| HC stays order on defamation suit | | |

Jammu, June 7: The State High court today stayed the impugned order 17.5.2018. The petitioner namely Rajesh Tandon filed a petition under section 561A for the quashment of the complaint filed by Mohd. Safeer who alleged that he was defamed by a news published in Early Times with regard to the misuse of powers by the officials of Hospital Surankote and non availability of ambulance for locals in case of emergency and after the publication of the same he was placed under suspension and as a result he was defamed.
Justice Sanjeev Kumar after hearing Ashish Sharma learned Counsel for the petitioner stayed the order dated17.05 2018 till next date before the bench and subject to objections from the other side. |
