After Rajnath's general amnesty to stone pelters, Chennai tourist's killers to be released | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 7: By announcing to withdraw cases against stone pelters, who are part of agitational terrorist, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has apparently given amnesty to killer of Chenai tourist R Thirumani who was stoned to death by stone pelters to whom the Union Home Minister has hailed as "innocent children". These "innocent children" have let loose a reign of terror in the Kashmir Valley and they are attacking and killing people like any thing. A tourist from Chennai was killed and a local woman injured in an incident of throwing of stones at Narbal on the Srinagar-Gulmarg road in Baramulla district on May 7 evening R. Thirumani Selvan, son of Rajavel of Chennai, was died at the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital in Srinagar. He was hit on the nose and the forehead. He was in Srinagar with his parents and sister. These innocent children who always committed mistakes had deliberately attacked several vehicles with rocks. Several vehicles were damaged in throwing of stones by protesters. Three persons had been arrested on charges of stone Chennai tourist to death but after Rajnath Singh's general amnesty these killers (innocent children) are likely to be released It is believed that move to grant amnesty to stone-pelters by the PDP-BJP government a "suicidal move". Granting amnesty to stone-pelters has not helped in bringing normalcy in the Valley. Instead, the situation has further deteriorated. |
