Jammu,June 7: On the occasion of the World No Tobacco Day, Adbi Kunj organized an awareness meet here today. The meet was presided over by a renowned poet Wafa Sangdil whereas Gojri poet Mohammad Sarwar Chohan Habeeb was the guest of honor and renowned singer Chaman Sagoch conducted the proceeding of the meet. While addressing the gathering, Aarash Dalmotra Chairman, Sham Talib President Adbi Kunj and Sarwar Chohan threw detailed light on the ill effects of tobacco. Later, in the musical session, Chaman Sagoch sang two Urdu Ghazals 1. "Aap-Hi-Ki-Tarha-Aap-Hi-Ki-Tarha Dil-Hai-Pahloo-Ik-Ajnabi-Ki-Tarha" of Sham Talib 2. "Mehak-Rahe-Hain-Har-Soo-Sare-Kitne-Gehre-Zakham-Hamare" of Smt Santosh Nadan. The poets who participated in the meet include Aarash Dalmotra, Wafa Sangdil, Sarwar Chohan, Sanjeev Kumar, Ashok Muntiq, S.K. Gupta, Chaman Sagoch, Rajeev Kumar, Raj Kamal, Bishan Dass Khak, Santosh Nadan and Sham Talib. Later Adbi Kunj condoles the sad demise of renowned personality Shiv Dutt. The vote of thanks was proposed by Aarash Dalmotra, Chairman Adbi Kunj Jammu. |
