| CJM directs SSP Kathua to file status report | | Complainant accuses Advocate of threatening | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 26: In the complaint filed by one Rupinder Kour wife of Amrit Pal Singh seeking status report from Women Cell Police Station Kathua in the matter of report lodged by the applicant against her husband as well as her father-in-law who beat her mercilessly and also against Deepika Rajwat Advocate, for threatening her for a compromise in Women cell Police Station Kathua, CJM Kathua Amarjeet Singh Langeh forwarded the same in original to SSP Kathua for report in two weeks. In the meantime the accused party came with Deepika Rajwal Advocate, Jammu, in Women Cell Police Station Kathua who made unwarranted threats to the complainant and pressurized to compromise with the accused party. That till date the Incharge Women Cell Police Station Kathua has not taken any action and the complainant is in apprehension that the investigation of the case is totally against her due to intervention of Deepika Rajwat Advocate. CJM Kathua Amarjeet Singh Langeh also directed SSP Kathua to take necessary action in law and file status report within four days. |
