| Kasab villagers protest over shortage of water | | | Early Times Report
Mendhar, June 26: People of village Kasab and adjoining areas today staged protest demonstration against PHE authorities for snapped water supply for the last over one month.
The villagers from the area assembled at Kasab at around 11 Am today and started protest demonstration. They alleged that for the last over one month, the water supply to the area has been suspended during these hot summer days and villagers are facing lot of hardships.
The villagers alleged that many PHE pipes have broken while water supply from the sources has been disrupted due to the reason best known to the concerned field staff.
The matter was also brought to the notice of concerned AEE at PHE Sub Division Mendhar but no improvement in the water supply has been witnessed. |
