Rajouri, June 26: Immediately after the imposition of Governor rule in the State, social activists, members of various non-governmental organisations have been demanding high level investigation /probes into illegal/ back door appointments of blue eyed as daily wagers in various departments.
"Not only this, illegal withdrawal of funds worth crores of rupees have also come to the fore for either illegally executed works or for already executed works (for which payment have already been withdrawn)" said Umair Mir, spokesman JK scene Watch NGO.
According to him people of Rajouri & Budhal have been alleging illegal/backdoor appointments of GRS and Computer Operators in Budhal, Khawas and Kotranka areas.
Umair alleged he on 8/4/2018 (under RTI Act) had sought information related to funds utilised under SBM, MNERGA and BADP, information regarding engagement of GRS, and computer operators but concerned department failed to provide the same.
JK Scene Watch , NGO termed the appointments of GRS under MGNREGA and Computer operator under SBM in RDD (block Budhal) as illegal.
Other members of the NGO namely Mohd Atif and Bomeet Singh said they will bring all the scams into the notice of the Governor for transparent and fair investigation/probe so that the genuine candidates ( for GRS & computer operators) may get justice.
"In PhaIni & other panchyats in block Budhal action plans were made with the consent of the concerned people and genuine works were taken in hand by the department but later the panchyats were asked to supervise the works, in order to give benefit to party workers, without any legal notice" said the NGO members.
Officials of JK-Scene watch, NGO have appealed to the Governor to constitute high level team of non- local officers to probe the allegation and they are ready to help the team and to provide evidences.
