Jammu, June 26: Mega Farmers Awareness Camp was organised under the chairmanship of the member of Legislative Assembly and ex-Minister Sukhnandan Choudhary in connection with the establishment of Litchi Village in Marh constituency.
In the camp, about 250 Farmers participated besides Chief Horticulture Officer Jammu, Horticulture Development officer Jammu, Horticulture Development Satwari, Sarpanches and Panches of the area. The Horticulture Development presented a brief note on Litchi cultivation and his visit NRCL Mazafar Pur while Chief Horticulture Officer Jammu interacted on various schemes being implemented by the department and various components available especially in Litchi village project
MLA Marh highlighted the impotence of Litchi cultivation and stressed upon the farmers to adopt Litchi cultivation and take benefits of Litchi village project. |
