JAMMU, June 26: Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Traffic City Jammu, PD Sharma today chaired a meeting of all the Officers of Traffic City Jammu to discuss the arrangements for smooth conduct of annual Yatra of Shri Amarnath Ji which will begin on June 28. The meeting among others was attended by Sunny Gupta DySP(T) City North Jammu, Raj Pal Singh DySP(T) City South Jammu, Dheeraj Katoch\ DySP (T) Domana-Akhnoor, Nagrota, RS Pura. Mohd Salim DySP Traffic and all DTIs of Traffic City Jammu. Addressing the officers, ASP directed all officers, both jurisdictional and those deployed for the Yatra from Kunjwani to Jhajjar Kotli to ensure personal supervision and regularly brief traffic officials from time to time for a smooth and incident free Yatra. PD Sharma said that the regulations of Traffic on all the roads used by the Yatris from your jurisdiction be managed effectively in order to avoid the jams on the roads and delay in the movement of Yatris' convoys. It should also ensure that stray vehicles are not mixed with the convoys and thereby enhancing the risk of incidents. Earlier, ASP took the suggestions of all the DySPs and DTIs for providing better Traffic arrangements to the yatris. All the officers assured for the successful conduct of the Yatra regarding Traffic. |
