Kishtwar, June 26: Three days inter school tournament in various games was today inaugurated by the tehsildar Bhaderwah at the ground of boys HSS Bhaderwah.
Tournament is being organized by DYSSO Doda under the chief patronage of Sheikh Fayaz Ahmed, Director General YSS and under the guidance of Jt. Director Madan Lal.
Speaking on this occasion Ashok Kotwal DYSSO Doda thanked Tehsidar Bhaderwah for inaugurating the event and laid stress to engaging the students in extracurricular activities including sports to keep them fit and active. Various officials of the department remained present on the occasion.
First round matches in all most all the games viz. Volleyball, Kabaddi, Kho Kho, wrestling, chess, carrom, badminton etc were completed today, while tomorrow quarter finals will be played and the semi finals and finals will be played on Thursday. |
