Delegation of JKGTF calls on CEO Kathua

KATHUA, June 26:A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Government Teachers Forum (JKGTF) called on CEO Kathua and submitted a memorandum of demands. The main demands which were discussed during the meeting include issuing directions to ZEOs and headmasters to draw the pay of head teachers and RReTb teachers working under SSA and masters working under RMSA as per the 7th pay commission for the month of April, drawl of salary of surplus masters working in different schools as the pay of 32 masters is released by DSE Jammu but nearly 30 masters is not released which is discriminatory in nature, clearing all TBP cases of teachers and permission as well besides mplementation of transparent transfer policy on rational basis, subject basis and need basis as per norms.
CEO assured the delegation that all issues would be looked into sympathetically. The delegation was led by state chairman Amar Nath Thakur. The delegation thanked CEO Kathua for patient hearing.
Those who were present in the meeting were Surjit Singh (president Headmasters Forum), Parveen Singh (state general secretary JKGTF) Des Raj, Tara Mani, Ashoni Kumar, Kali Dass, Babu Ram, Jagdish Chander, Shatrugan and others
