Udhampur, June 27: Baba Karla Road linking Children Park to National Highway at famous hill station of Patnitop is in dilapidated condition.
Locals told to Early Times that the people face a lot of problems while travelling on this road.
"The road is very dirty, rather muddy and spoils clothes of pedesterians.
Beena Devi, a local said that during rainy days the situation becomes worst and the road turns very slippery.
"During rainy days the slippery road causes many accidents," she maintained.
Locals further informed that many times they visited the officer of the concerned departments but nothing fruitful emerged.
"Though the earlier government led by BJP and PDP had utterly failed to get the road repaired now we pin all the hopes on the Governor N.N Vohra," they said. Locals have appealed to the Government to get the road repaired as many tourists want to visit the place. |
