ADDC suspends 17 absentee employees

RAMBAN, June 27: Taking serious note on unauthorized absence from duty Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ramban Ravinder Sadhu ordered the suspension of seventeen employees including two of PHC Shagan, Doctor Fhema Gohar, FMPHW Shahnaz Begum while seven of PHC Khari, Doctor Aijaz Ahmed, Sameer Ahmed, FMPHW Rashida Begum, Shahnaza Begum, Nusrat Parveen, Sweeper Shabir Ahmed whereas three each of Sub District Hospital Banihal ARSH councillor Nasir Ahmed, Saima Shafi, X-Ray technician Yasir Ahmed and Executive Engineer PMGSY Div. Banihal AAO Shabir Ahmed, Head Draftsman Mohd Sikender, Camp operator Ashiq Hussain and one each from ZEO office Khari Teacher Nayeem Ahmed and Animal Husbandry Department Ramban Attendant Romesh Chander who were found absent from their duties during the working hours.
ADDC ordered all above officers and officials are hereby placed under suspension and their salary is kept withheld and the concerned district officers directed to conduct an enquiry into their absence and shall furnish a detailed report to this office along with specific comments for taking further appropriate action as per classification conduct and appeal rules.
The report should invariably be sent to this office within week's time positively.
Further, Govt. Tehsil Library Banihal was found locked by Sub- Divisional Magistrate, Banihal for which a detailed report shall be sought by SDM, Banihal from the concerned officers. It is pertinent to mention that to check the punctuality in the offices, SDMs and Tehsildars of district were directed by the ADDC to conduct surprise visits in government offices in their respective jurisdictions. The ADDC directed the officers and staff to maintain work culture and punctuality, adding that no indiscipline shall be tolerated and strict action will be taken against the erring employees.
