If I had to leave, I will consult senior Beigh: Javaid Beigh | | | S Tahir-ul Haq
Early Times Report BARAMULLA, July 5: At a time when J&K is witnessing major political turmoil after the fall of PDP-BJP coalition in state, another MLA from Baramulla is likely to resign from the party after consulting senior Beigh and workers of his constituency. There is no point to remain in the party, when you are not being heard", said PDP MLA Javaid Hassan Beigh. There are MLAs like Imran and Abbas Ansari and others who are very disappointed with the party, we had earlier informed the party about the future consequences and today we all are witnessing it. "It is very unfortunate that today we are seeing that every member is disappointed with the party. We made this party some twenty years back in July 1998. People are witnessing the major changes in the party" he averred. "If I had to leave this party, I will consult senior Biegh, friends, and my party workers who had voted for me," he added. Notably Javaid Hassan Beigh is the nephew of Muzaffar Hussain Beigh who is also Member of Parliament from North Kashmir and has huge supporter base across the valley. It is pertinent to mention here that Javid Beigh is first time sitting legislature from Baramulla Constituency. However sources said that PDP legislature Javaid Baig has come open against his party and said that he wasted over twenty years. In the recent past, influential Shia leader and former minister Imran Ansari lashed out at PDP president Mehbooba Mufti, accusing her of nepotism. After hours MLA Gulmarag, Abbad Wani had said that he endorsed Ansari's statement against the party leadership and blamed a few for hijacking the party. |
