Overloading unabated in Rajouri | | | Early Times Report Reasi, July 5: Although Inspector General Of Police (traffic) Basant Kumar Rath has set his influences against traffic rules violators but, "what a single man can do?" as traffic police and traffic department is not taking his guidelines seriously resulting which transporters and openly violating the traffic norms. Overloading in district Reasi had become common spectre especially the vehicles moving from Reasi to Talwara, Reasi to Jyotipuram, Reasi to Pouni, Pouni to Bhambla, and Bhambla to Sunderbani always remain overloaded, sources informed. A mini bus having capacity of 19 passengers can be seen by carrying more than 40, whereas Tata sumo and auto rikshaws are carrying more than 20 passengers instead of 7 passed. Locals of different areas of the district Reasi have appealed to Inspector General Of Police (traffic) BK Rath to conduct a surprise visit to district Reasi to take appropriate action against violators and officials who are allegedly backing them. |
