| Flood warning issued in Rajouri, Poonch areas: Weather dept | | |

Poonch, July 5: The country's Meteorological Department on Thursday predicted heavy rain in Poonch and Rajouri areas of both the districts of Jammu and Kashmir. The weather department has also issued the flood warning, reports claimed.
"Weather advisory has been issued. Meteorological department has predicted rain in Rajouri and Poonch. We're monitoring water level in rivers. We request people in low-lying areas to be alert. We are prepared for all situations," news gatherer quoted Deputy Commissioner Poonch as saying.
According to reports, the water level in the Poonch river is being monitored by the district administration and people living in the low-lying areas have been given the instructions. |
