| AJKLTF organises state convention at Katra | | |  Early Times Report
Katra, July 5: One Day State Convention of All Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation under the aegis of Akhil Bharatiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh was held at Spiritual Growth Centre Katra (Reasi) under the Chairmanship of of Nirmal Kumar Kumar Choudhary , Chief Education Officer Reasi was the Chief Guest , Prof Jagdish Prasad Singhal, All India President of Akhil Bharatiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh was chief spokesperson and the Sangathan Mantri Sh Mahendra Kapoor.
The teachers , eminent Educationists, prominent citizens from across the State participated in the one day convention . Addressing the convention, Prof Jagdish Prasad Singhal stresses for early redressal of issues of SSA teachers in the state who are on agitation for the last ten months. But the State Govt. did not resolve their issues till date. This adamant attitude on the part of the State Govt. put the teachers under depression which adversely affecting the Teaching Learning process .He warned of Statewide agitation if the issue of SSA teachers is not resolved within a month. He appealed the Govt. to resolve this issue seriously. Prof Singhal said that Teachers are the role models of society and nation . India was the 'Vishwa Guru' in ancient times and showed the message of brotherhood to whole world. Only the teachers have the potential to restore this lost status of Vishwa Guru. |
