Baramulla, Aug 1: Security forces launched a massive Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) after militants attacked a camp of Rashtriya Rifles (RR) in this north Kashmir on Wednesday evening, official sources said.
They said militants fired with automatic weapons towards a RR camp at Rafiabad, Baramulla, this evening. Alert troops also retaliated and the exchange of fire continued for some time. However, the militants managed to escape under the cover of darkness. |
