8/1/2018 10:35:02 PM

Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 1: The Chief Education Officer (CEO) Udhampur and Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs) have virtually disrespected GAD's order regarding cancellation of all attachments.
Nearly over one dozen teachers and non-teachers in various schools falling under the CEO's jurisdiction enjoy attachment.
According to sources, Suma Devi, a teacher posted in middle school Tagan, Zone Kulwanta, has been attached with tehsil office Ramnagar for more than three years.
In another case, Pritam Singh who teaches in middle school Chakal has been attached in higher secondary school Basantgarh.
Similarly, Nek Ram, headmaster of middle school Mannu Zib Thathi Udhampur remains attached with the CEO Udhampur Jattu Ram.
On his own discretion, CEO Udhampur gave some additional charges of zone Kulwanta to his close aide ZEO Dudu Tara Nath. There are 160 schools in zone Dudu and more than 100 of them have been put under the charge of Nath.
The sources further revealed that the Deputy Commissioner Udhampur attached the wife of his junior officer who is ReT teacher in district Library Udhampur from many years.
"Riaz Hussain Bhat, a library assistant who is close to ZEO, is attached with ZEO office, although he is originally posted in higher secondary school Basantgarh," sources added.
