JAMMU, Aug 1: One day workshop was organised in Vishwa Bharati Senior Secondary School Akalpur Morh with the theme of the workshop was "Know Thy Self" under which the focus was laid on how to reduce stress. Secretary Vishwa Bharati Women's Welfare Institution, Dr. S.K. Koul was the resource person who threw light on the causes and effects of stress and suggested various uberous measures to lead a stress free life. In his long and detailed eloquent lecture, he quoted that the human life is a combination of spiritual, philosophical and biological aspects and the harmony between them is utmost necessary for leading a happy life of self- composure. He insinuated various methods like meditation, singing, listening to music and playing games to reduce stress. Most importantly, he advised the teachers to love and appreciate themselves, their bodies, their efficiency to create an atmosphere of optimism for their own growth and the growth of the institution. The whole programme initiated with welcome address by school Principal Prof. Annapurna Koul and came to a conclusion with vote of thanks by Sameer Bhat, In- Charge Higher Secondary. |
