Shiksha Niketan organizes English Calligraphy Competition

Jammu, Aug 1: Shiksha Niketan Jeevan Nagar organized "English Calligraphy Competition" of Class 3rd in its School Premises. It is well said that Co- Curricular activities are part and parcel for an all round development of the individual. So, keeping this view in mind Shiksha Niketan conducts number of Co- Curricular activities at regular intervals of time. All students of each section of Class 3rd participated with full zeal and enthusiasm.
The participants brought "English 4 lines shuts", pen, colours, sketch colours etc for decorating the borders of the shuts. They decorated the shuts borders beautifully. Students wrote very neat and clean. This Competition helped a lot in bringing out the hidden talent of the students. They wrote in "an expressive, harmonious and skillful manner" They enjoyed themselves a lot in this competition. The judging criteria was based on symmetry, speed and neatness. It was difficult for the judges to choose the best English Calligrapher among all the participants. After that, he judges gave the collective verdict announcing toppers as per their achievements and the first position was bagged by Navleen Kour of 3rd F The Second position secured by Monali Sodhi of 3rd B and the third Position bagged by Yug Sagotra of Class 3rd G.
