After Assam, BRM now wants NRC in J&K | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 1: Bharat Raksha Manch (BRM) has asked to implement the NRC in the Jammu and Kashmir state. Addressing a press conference here today, Rohit Bajrangi of BRM said that this is an historic moment for our nation as the NRC came into existence and published. He said that there are large number of intruders in our country but it is very difficult to count the numbers of NRIs. Hence, the Supreme Court directed the Assam government to maintain a proper register of illegal citizens and intruders for the identification of such persons. Bajrangi said that the Supreme Court has welcomed the draft planning of NRC and also lauded the role of such team who has done hectic job to achieve such a milestone. He said that it is suspected that there are about 5-6 crores of Rohingyas and infiltrators in India, the Bhatriya Raksha Manch therefore demanded to deprive all such suspects from Identity card, Voters lists, Licenses, Ration card, PAN card. |
