JAMMU, Aug 1: In continuation to operation 'Avtaar' launched by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu Vivek Gupta against vehicle lifters, Gharota police arrested a vehicle lifter and recovered two motorcycles and one scooty from his possession.
Police said that a youth namely Mohd Afzal of Ranjan, Gharota was arrested and on his disclosures police recovered three two-wheelers (one Bullet, one Pulsar and one Scooty) were recovered from his possession.
Police sources said that the custody of the arrested has been given to Domana police as FIR theft of scooty was registered in Domana police station.
The arrested and recovery was made by team led by Inspector Gurmeet Singh under the supervision of SDPO AKhnoor Munish Anand, SP Rural Dushyant Sharma. |
