Private Schools Association Jammu holds meeting | | | Early Times Report Nowshera, Sept 16: A meeting of Private schools Association took place under the chairmanship of Rameshwar Mengi (Vice President JKPSA) in Nowshera in which owners of Private schools of Districts Rajouri Participated . Prithviraj Khokhar District vice President highlighted the number of issues pertaining to the Private schools functioning in the boarder areas while getting recognition without the approval of fee from FFC upto class 8th by DSE Jammu,delay in granting recognition to the school functioning up to 10th and 12th classes by the School Education Department on the basis of affiliation granted by the JK BOSE etc. Members present in the meeting condemned the step motherly treatment given by the Director School Education Jammu for granting recognition to number of schools up to class 8th by the pick and choose method although Honble Court of Jammu & Kashmir has directed DSE Jammu to grant recognition to all such schools whose cases are sub judice without any NOC from the FFC. General secretary of the JKPSA Ajay Gupta urged to all the entrepreneurs' of the self financed schools not to submit any file to the FFC until and unless government of J &K does not come out with clear cut policies and rules for the operation of Fee Fixation . Rameshwar Mengi appealed to the owners of the Private schools that Private School which has got approval of its school fee from the FFC should charge only that approved fee from the parents, and should provide authentic receipt so that there is no hue and cry among the masses. Prominent who attended the conference included Sanjeev Luthra ,Ajay Singh,Manohar Lal Sharma, Parshotam Sharma, Narender Chowdhary, Ritesh Chowdhary etc. |
