Udhampur, Sept 16: Illegal constructions are going on unabated here along the national highway. However, taking cognizance of a complaint, the concerned deputy commissioner swung into action and got the illegal construction demolished and material seized.
A question haunts the people. Who allows these constructions? No action was taken for the two months by the municipality as the construction continued. What were the ground staff doing?
The people have widely hailed the DC who took some time on a holiday and ensured demolition of the illegal structure.
