Katra, Sept 16: The School of Mechanical Engineering at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra also paid tributes to Visvesvaraya and celebrated the Engineers Day.
Dr. Balbir Singh, faculty SMVDU gave a presentation on the life of Visvesvaraya to students, faculty, staff, and presented Russian & Chinese dignitaries, highlighting his genius in harnessing water resources and building & consolidation of dams across the country. Prof. R. Arvind Singh from KCT, Coimbatore further highlighted the achievements of Sir M. Visvesvaraya.
Dr. R. K. Mishra, Head, School of Mechanical Engineering, SMVDU emphasised the importance of Engineering in the development of nation and improving the quality of life. |
