RAMBAN, Sept 16: People of Karol area of district Ramban alleged that land acquisition authority nodal officer ADC Ramban has not released the compensation of land structures came under acquisition process of the in Ramban district.
They said that according to project policy norms made by the central government for rehabilitating affected persons whose land and structures came under any project the government and the concerned agency is duty bound to rehabilitate people who are getting affected or dislocated by execution of project.
The residents of Karool a village of Ramban alleged that district administration along with some sub contractors engaged by contractor company Gammon India private limited dismantled a locked house of a widow in her absence on Sunday morning.
They described it highhandedness and rape of law by the administration and influential sub contractor.
They said the compensation of the residential houses structures business establishments and shops has not been advanced fully in favor of affected persons besides twenty percent has been deducted by the acquisition authority the cost of bricks iron rods and other allied material we were not given time to save this material the cost of which has been deducted by the authorities. |
