Daily Wagers strike enters day 21, demand salary | | | Early Times Report Kathua, Sept 28: A large number of daily wagers employees under the banner of All J&K PHE ITI Trained & CP workers and land Donors & Imprested wagers Association District Kathua today massive protest demonstration against state government compressing their demand of 5 year pending salary arrears, regularization and regular salary. Their chain hunger strike today entered in day 21 but nobody from government representative bother till day to redress their demands. The protesters cursed NDA government by shouting slogan like BJP down-BJP down, Narendra Modi Down-Narendra Modi down. Shiv Narayan President CP workers' association who led the protest, informed about the worst plight of employees due to unavailability of sufficient money to run the family. He lambasted on state government for not releasing arrears that affects their livelihood. The workers perform their duty at low wages and if the is not released regularly, it becomes difficult to survive and Children strive in Modi's rule. The protesters demanded early release of arrears, regularization and regular salary. |
