Jammu, Sept 28: The Court of Excise Magistrate Jammu awarded 2 years imprisonment to Anupam Bhardwaj Tanker Driver who was facing trial for the last 14 years for causing death due to rash driving.
Court after hearing Senior PO Jatinder Anand for the State observed that on 30-05-2004 a person namely Munna S/O Prem Shah R/o Prem Nagar A/P Kharian who was riding on his bicycle from Talab Tillo towards Camp Gole Gujral awas hit byTanker bearing registration No. 2733/JK02E driven by the driver Anupam Bhardwaj S/O Baldev Kishore R/O Sharoot , Tehsil Thathri, Doda A/P Beli Charana Jammu who was driving the tanker negligently, rashly and carelessly. Munna succumbed to injuries on spot.
FIR Mentioned above offence U/S 279/304-A/RPC was registered and investigation of the case as entrusted to IHC Chura Mani No. 140 IHC after usual investigation found the accused guility of commission of offences U/S 279/304-A /RPC. |
