JAMMU, Oct 9: The Central Government Pensioners 'Welfare Association, Jammu has donated Rs. 1.66 lakh towards Kerala flood tragedy.
As many as 44 members of the Association have contributed towards Kerala Relief. The maximum contribution of Rs. 10,000 was made by the Patron of the Association, V P Sharma of GSI followed by Rs. 7000 each by the President, S. S. Wazir, and former ADGP and ML Kachroo of GSI.
While five have contributed Rs. 5100 each, 16 other members have made contribution of Rs. 5000 each.
At today's weekly meeting of the Association, the newly published CGPWA Members' Directory was formally released. It has the names and other data of 335 members including of Kashmir. The Patron V P Sharma did the honours. |
