JAMMU, Oct 9: A total of 516 children between the ages of 3 and 15 were vaccinated at Kartar Public School, Barnoti on Tuesday to protect them against measles and rubella.
A medical team from Primary Health Centre, Budhi, Block Parole under the supervision of Dr. Sangeeta Ajrawat, BMO, Parole and Dr. Pawan Kumar, ZMO, Budhi conducted the medical camp at the school. Students from pre-nursery to tenth class participated in the camp and were inoculated.
The initiative was taken by the Directorate of Family Welfare, MCH & Immunization, J&K government with the cooperation of UNICEF and the World Health Organization (WHO). |
