| A Survey conducted by GDC candidates Udhampur to felicitate ASER-2018 | | |  Udhampur, Oct 9: A Survey was conducted by the candidates of GDC Udhampur to felicitate Annual Status of Education Report-2018. The initiative was taken by GDC Udhampur with the certitude of adorable Principal of the College Dr. Udhey Bhanu in collaboration with PRATHAM an NGO. More than 60 volunteer students pioneered a survey based on three days training imparted to them by Master trainers from the Pratham. The responsibility was shouldered and shared by Prof. Kaku Ram, Department of BBA who coordinated the whole event from motivating the students and finally imparting the students the practical lesson of conducting surveys.
The students during their training programme were given refreshment and for conducting survey they were paid in monetary terms. The students conducted survey in different spares of District Udha-mpur by visiting different schools and household in far flung villages by gathering first hand data of the real picture of education and literacy in rural India. |
