Udhampur, Feb 13: DPS Udhampur, organized a Career Counselling workshop for the students of classes IX to XII. The resource person of the day was Gursha Sharma, who is an eminent educationalist , a career counsellor, and a teachers trainer. Gursha Sharma comes with over a decade of experience in career counselling and teachers trainings. He helps teachers and students to handle stress, overcome psychological, mental pressure and other problems.
The Pro Vice Chairman of the School Dr. J.C Gupta stated that one should choose career options that match one's values because knowing what you value most will help you refine your career search, choice and values such as helping others, prestige, high income, flexible work hours. School has been always looking for excellent options for its kids and with in short time span it will arrange another workshop for the kids.
The Principal of the school Dr. Kunal Anand, stated that undoubtedly the knowledge shared by the resource person Grusha Sharma will be beneficial for the parents and the students and sessions like these always help the kids to understand what exactly is beneficial for them rather than being confused or being dependent on others to choose career options for them. |
