SAMBA, Feb 13: Even as the Samba hospital got the district hospital status but the patients and even staffers are made to drink contaminated water.
It has come to fore that the authorities seldom clean the water tank. And to add insult to injury, the water purifier installed in the hospital is not working,
The Medical Superintendent said that the tank was cleaned recently and a new tank was also installed but reports said the tank is full of dirt and water in it is not fit for human consumption. The locals while accusing the hospital administration of negligence demanded appropriate action against the authorities. |
