| Two persons trapped in flooded river Ravi rescued | | |  Early Times Report
Kathua, Feb 13: Kathua Police in a rescue operation succeeded in saving two precious lives who were trapped in river Ravi.
Police spokesman said that the incident took place when two persons namely Surinder Singh son of Vijay Singh of Beas Amritsar Punjab and Luvpreet Singh son of Lakhvinder Singh of Gurdaspur Punjab who were trapped in flooded river Ravi.
"Instantly after receiving the information, Shridhar Patil-SSP Kathua alongwith Nasir Ahmed-Addl SP Kathua and KD Bhagat-Dy.SP DAR Kathua rushed to the spot and launched rescue operation without losing any time with the assistance of CISF and SDRF teams to save the precious lives.
After strenuous efforts Kathua Police succeeded in saving precious lives from the clutches of death. |
