Udhampur, Feb 13: Progressive Youth Society Ramnagar in Distt Udhampur J&K organized a programme titled "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao" in the premises of Pilot Academy High School Battal Ballian Udhampur in which Charan Dass Sumbrai Retd. Agriculture Officer was the Chief Guest whereas Ved Parkash Sharma Principal presided over. The programme started with welcome address by Manoj Kumar Sharma " Nishchint" President P.Y.S followed by presentation of skit based on girl child education. Students also expressed their views on empowerment of girl. In symposium/debate, Arun Bhatri, Riya, Sharma, Rimpy Sharma, \ Preeti Verma, Ruchi Sharma, Bhumika Sharma, Sakshi Sharma, Rashika Sharma, Juhi Sharma, Vanshika Sharma, Krish Sharma and Shuddhi took part. Tanveer Ahmed member P.Y.S conducted the proceedings of this function whereas membership Secretary P.Y.S Rajinder Singh "Sagar" presented vote of thanks. Certificates were given to all particiapants whereas guests were honoured with momentoes. |
