Srinagar, Feb 13: Traffic authorities on Wednesday said that no fresh traffic will be allowed to ply on the Jammu-Srinagar highway on Thursday. "Keeping in view the advisory issued by MeT department there may be chances of heavy snowfall/rain in J&K, may lead to disruption on the highway," traffic department in a statement said. "Therefore subject to fair weather/clearance of the road today on 14.02.2019, only stranded vehicles shall be allowed to move towards Srinagar," it said. Meanwhile, the traffic on historical Mughal road, and Srinagar-Sonamarg, Gumri remained closed due to the accumulation of snow. People are requested to undertake a journey only after confirming the status of the road from below mentioned phone Nos.
