| VHP demands arrest of anti-nationals, action against police high handedness | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 13: Taking a serious note of the high handedness of the police and use of the force on innocent and unarmed students peacefully demanding action against the miscreants, who raised anti-national slogans on February 11, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) demanded a stern action against those who were behind the act of sedition.
Addressing a press conference here today, the state president of the VHP Leela Karan Sharma asked the administration to defuse the situation by arresting the culprits without any further delay and take action against the police personnel who were responsible for the brutal lathicharge on the students. Sharma said that the VHP fully supports the demand of the students adding that the VHP is also of the view that some anti-national elements in the Police force and the anti-national elements from Kashmir are bent upon to spoil the peaceful atmosphere of Jammu in conspiracy with the politicians who are supporting them. |
