| Police recovers 10- gram heroin, drug peddler arrested | | |

Kathua, July 29: Indecisive action against drug menace, a team of Police Station Kathua seized 10 grams of heroin and arrested a drug peddler wanted for spread of drugs in the area.
Team of Police Station Kathua during checking duty in Changran area apprehended a drug peddler namely Shamdin alias Billu son of Sharif Mohammad resident of Kote Punnu Kathua and seized 10 grams of heroin in his illegal possession. He was riding on a two-wheeler without the registration number. The police team also seized the motorcycle.
Police Station Kathua registered a case FIR No. 248/19 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act against the accused. Further investigation into the case is going on. |
