| Sunderbani ZEO 'bunks' office, visitors suffer | | |

rajouri, July 29: Muhammad Qayoom, the Zonal Education Officer of Lower Hathal in Sunderbani here has allegedly been skipping his office most of the times thereby making visitors suffer.
Sources said the ZEO visits his office almost after a fortnight "and only to complete his attendance for all the days of absence."
"He remains away from his office on the pretext of being busy in field visits and meetings and this behavior of his has affected educational activities in the area," the sources said.
The visitors to the office of the ZEO said his absence was a reason for "degrading educational standards in the area." "There is a genuine need to have new officer," the visitors said.
When contacted the ZEO said he was busy in a meeting away from his office. "You can file complaint anywhere you want to," he said.
Meanwhile the locals have appealed Governor's Advisor Farooq Khan to look into the matter. |
