KATHUA, Aug 1: In order to improve current cleanliness level in Government offices, District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kathua, today inspected various offices in DC Office Complex so as to inculcate good sanitation and hygiene practices among employees and visitors. During the inspection, DDC Dr Raghav Langer found that general standard of cleanliness and upkeep was not maintained in and around several office premises. He imposed a fine of Rs 1000 on all those Departments and directed the HoDs to deposit the fine in the account of District Red Cross Society, failing which their salary will be ceased.
The departments which were fined today by the DC included office of DyDEO, AEE REW, DSWO, CEO, DYSSO, DEPO, Khelo India, TSO, Tehsildar and NT beside others. |
