Broken, leaking pipes cause acute water shortage in Pingi Dhar 8/1/2019 11:10:54 PM Arun Jasrotia Early Times Report Udhampur, Aug 1: The failure of Public Health Engineering (PHE) department in plugging leakages of broken pipes in Pingi-Dhar village in Panchari tehsil of district Udhampur has caused acute water crisis. The pipes were laid 20 years ago. However, nobody bothered to plug the leaks till date. Joginder Singh local while talking to ET said we face water crises due to the failure of the department concerned . He added that 20 years ago the pipe line was laid in our village but till date old pipes were not replaced, even the leaks were not plugged. He said around 100 households were witbout potable water.
