Jammu, Aug 1: Police claimed to have foiled three bovine smuggling bids and rescued 20 bovines from the possession of smugglers in Rajouri district.
Reports said that a team of police intercepted a person and rescued five bovines from the clutches of said accused namely Abdul Majid son of Ahmed Din resident of Brehvi Kalakote who was smuggling the animals via foot. Similarly remaining bovines were rescued from two other smuggling attempts. |
